How do I find and use the E-Verge SEO Site Design Website-Capture Page Tool?
Answer It’s simple just go to your back office by logging in and then scroll your mouse over to the Marketing Tools Tab a row of tools will appear just right click on Site Design SEO and your program will appear on your screen.
Step One This is where you will pick your Theme. This is a Very Important step since you can only do this once. Be sure you think about what your Theme should be. Example for a Eye glass repair shop. The Next step is inserting Images. To insert Images onto your website first select ad Image on website tool bar and place the cursor where you want to insert image and rt click and let go the cursor will be blinking that’s what you’re looking for. We will use Google Images for this demonstration. Go to google.com and look at the upper left of the site. Click on Images then type in what images you want to search for like travel, Beaches or business persons. Anything your thinking of Google images will probably have an picture. Double click on the image and it’s true pixel size will appear. Go to Snagit.com and order the Snagit program it’s a must for E-verge Site Design users. Pull up snagit from you tool bar and put your cursor where you want to capture the image and pull the box around the image you want to save and put on your site. You can always go through the Snagit getting started videos if you need help with this step. Now your still on snagit if you want to re size the image then on the right side look fo re-size image and it will show you the exact pixels. Enter in the pixels or click the up and down button and it will re-size it for you. IMPORTANT Keep this in mind the maximum pixels for the Left side of your sites is 120 pixels, in the middle is 500 pixels and on the right side is 130 pixels. Now you need Save the image that you just re-sized on Snagit. Go to the upper tool bar left side and you will see a tab that looks like a clipboard. Put your mouse cursor over it and it will say “Save as”. Now save it to your documents by making a new folder. Put the folder on your Desk Top or and easy to remember file name in the My Document files. OK are you with me so far? If you answered Yes then let’s move on. Now you need to upload the picture or image to the Site Design’s main server. You have clicked on Edit/Ad Image tab and are on one of your webpages in the back office site design web builder and you clicked edit tab for edit functions, so put the cursor where you want the image and click. Now go up to your website toolbar and put your cursor over the yellow looking box. It will say ad image. Click on it then click on browse. It will pull up the E-verge Site Design main image folder. If you don’t have a Folder yet then add one at this time. OK pull up your file and then click browse and then look through your documents or your desktop. It depends where you put your folder that you saved from snagit to your computer. Now the picture/image url will pop into the upload tab (This is usually a long looking website URL. Click on Upload tab and now you should see your image filed in the main server. Now click browse again and the picture will appear in the box then hit upload and presto your image is on your site. Click save if your done or add more images and text just remember to Save what you just accomplished. In fact I encourage people to Save Often so you don’t lose precious work or time you spent.
Next you will learn to Insert a Clickable Link which is a picture or word on your webpages that you want someone to be able to click on the Image and be sent to a website. GO to the Tool Bar at the Top of your webpages in your Site Design SEO. Decide what section you want to work in and click on Edit. Now you will put the mouse cursor in front of the image on text and right click the mouse and hold it down. Now move the mouse over the image or text until it is blue then let go of mouse. Then click on the Globe on your Tool Box bar at the top of you webpage. Another box will appear enter in the url starting with example: www.e-verge/usename
then go to the top of that box and click on Target then scroll down and click on (new widow leave blank) then click OK tab. The Reason you want to Target is so that when someone click on you clickable link another window will pop up and they will not leave you original website or page.
